Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sweetener of your choice (optional)
- Fresh fruits, nuts, or seeds for topping (optional)
Directions:
- In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, 1/2 cup of your favourite milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- If you like it sweet, add a bit of honey, maple syrup, or sugar.
- Give it a good stir to make sure the chia seeds are well mixed and not clumping together.
- Let it sit for about 5 minutes. This helps the chia seeds start to absorb the liquid.
- Stir it again to break up any clumps.
- Now, cover it up and put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or even better, overnight.
- Once it's nice and thick, give it one last stir and serve it up!
- Top it with your favourite fruits, nuts, or seeds.
